Form PP-1. General instructions.
How pre-pump works.
Every coin filed here launches on pump.fun. What pre-pump sells is the launch itself: the first 87 buys on the curve, auctioned one numbered slot at a time before the coin exists. The numbers below are deployed program code, proven end to end on devnet and now live on mainnet.
Exhibit A. The mechanism
File, auction, execution. That is the whole lifecycle.
A name, a ticker, an optional image, 0.3 SOL. That opens a 24 hour auction over 87 numbered slots. No coin exists yet: what is being sold is the right to its launch, one buy at a time.
Slot N is the N-th launch buy on the coin's future pump.fun curve. Early slots buy cheap and land the most tokens, so the real fight is over the front of the queue. Minimum bid 1 SOL; any slot can be taken at 110% of its standing bid, and the outbid wallet is refunded in the same transaction.
The moment the last slot sells, bidding is over. One atomic transaction creates the coin on pump.fun AND sweeps the whole curve from escrow, so no sniper can ever trade in between. Winners claim their slot's exact tranche of that sweep, priced as if the 87 buys had fired in strict order.
Exhibit B. The order book
The queue is the product.
Why slot 1 is gold
A pump.fun curve starts cheap and gets expensive as it fills. The first 1 SOL of buying lands roughly fourteen times the tokens of the 87th. The auction turns that curve position into the thing you bid on: pay up for the front, or sit at the back for the floor price. Every slot shows its estimated launch buy in the ledger before you bid.
Escrow rules
Bids sit in a program escrow no one can touch, including us. Get outbid and the program refunds you inside the very transaction that outbids you. If the auction lapses at 24 hours or the filer withdraws it, every standing bid is reclaimable in full. The only money that never comes back is the 0.3 SOL filing fee.
Exhibit C. The machines
Sell-out to live market, no hands.
The coin is minted on pump.fun via CPI; the filer is recorded as its creator there, so pump.fun's own creator fees accrue to them.
The coin is created and the whole curve is bought in ONE atomic transaction from escrow; nobody can trade between the two. Each slot's tranche follows the exact ordered curve pricing, slot 1 largest, slot 87 smallest.
The completed curve migrates to PumpSwap, pump.fun's own AMM. Permissionless, automatic, same block as the last buy allows.
The excess pays out where the filer's dial points: their wallet, an on-the-spot buy-and-burn on the fresh pool, or both. The dial is public from filing.
Every step is a permissionless crank on the program: our bot runs them within seconds, but anyone can. If outside snipers complete the curve mid-sweep, buying stops and every unbought slot refunds its full bid.
Exhibit D. The money
Where every lamport goes.
The floor
87 slots x 1 SOL minimum is sized to complete a pump.fun curve, fees, migration and rents included. The floor is the launch; it is spent on the curve, not collected by anyone.
The premium
Everything bid above the floor is the excess: 30% is the platform fee, always. The other 70% follows the filer's dial, fixed at filing: paid to them, burned on PumpSwap right after migration, or split. A hot auction with a burn-heavy dial torches its own supply.
The creator
Filing costs 0.3 SOL, never refunded. In exchange the filer is the coin's creator on pump.fun itself: its creator fee on every trade there, curve and pool alike, accrues to the filer's wallet from the first fill.
Exhibit E. The parameters
Fixed at filing. All of it.
Exhibit F. Questions
Asked often enough to file.
What exactly am I buying?
A numbered slot in the coin's launch: the right to the N-th ~1 SOL buy on its pump.fun bonding curve, executed by the program at sell-out. Your slot's tokens are yours to claim the moment its buy lands.
What if the auction never sells out?
It lapses 24 hours after filing. Every standing bid becomes withdrawable in full, and the coin simply never exists. The filer can also withdraw earlier, with the same refunds.
Can the team touch the escrow?
No. Bids live in a program-derived account that only the program's own instructions can move: refund on outbid, launch buys in slot order, refunds on lapse. There is no admin path to it.
Why would I bid more than 1 SOL?
Because someone else took your slot. Early slots land several times the tokens of late ones, so the front of the queue clears above the floor. Whatever the crowd pays above 87 SOL total goes where the filer's public dial points: burn, their wallet, or both. Check the dial on the auction page before you bid.
What happens right after sell-out?
Nothing waits for a human. One atomic transaction creates the coin on pump.fun and completes the whole curve, then the pool migrates and the burn executes. Claims open for every slot the moment that transaction lands, snipers never get a look in.
Is this live money?
Yes. It runs on Solana mainnet with real SOL, against the live pump.fun deployment. Bids, the 0.3 SOL filing fee, and refunds are all real. The program has not had an independent audit, so bid what you can afford to lose.
